John Cena

Another Best Damn Sports Show Appearance · Jun 5, 02:52 PM by The Source

It’s been awhile since John Cena did his last stint as a guest host for the Fox Networks “Best Damn Sports Show Period”. However yesterday he was back in a guest host spot alongside WWE hottie Michelle McCool.

Primarily John spoke about the recent WWE draft lottery describing it as “Instead of getting drafted it’s like getting traded. You get a certain vibe and you hold a certain status in one locker room and then all of a sudden you get shipped to a different locker room with a whole new list of guys.”

WrestleMania 24 & John Cena · Jan 21, 02:01 PM by The Source

As you’ve no doubt noticed news on John Cena has been rather light ever since his injury however their is now a good chance we will get to see John Cena making an appearance on the upcoming WrestleMania 24

Why are the chances good?

Well the company who runs the Pay Per View events called “In Demand” has posted a preview of the event that includes his name.

Here is the full preview text:

“WrestleMania 24, the biggest pay-per-view spectacular of the year, invades the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, FL. Cena to make appearance tonight on RAW · Jan 7, 10:16 AM by The Source

Word is we might get to see John Cena making an appearance tonight on RAW, if this rumor holds true then it’s quite likely that he will be doing a live promo as part of the show!

Why we think this is probably true?

Well reports say that RAW creative team member Brian Gewirtz had a conversation with Cena last week and that the conversation was mostly focused around making an appearance on Monday’s RAW.

Also it’s been a little while since Cena made an appearance on RAW and the company no doubt wants to keep his name circulating espically since he’s going to be coming back to the show soon.

So even if he doesn’t appear tonight, rest assured he will be making an appearance soon and since theirs no reason we can think of why tonight wouldn’t be the night…. I think he’ll make an appearance.

John Cena Goes to Iraq · Dec 25, 05:38 PM by The Source

As the busy Christmas season starts to get underway a number of WWE superstars, including John Cena, have made the journey to support American troops in Iraq.

The visit was in traditional style with the Diva’s getting the show started only to be interrupted by the always angry Vince McMahon coming on stage to tell the troops that Santa wasn’t coming to Iraq. Of course Santacena had to set things right as he came out onto the ring in full Santa garb, after some exchange of words Cena gave Vince an FU and asked the Divas to help give out some goodies!!!

I have to say I’m glad to see the WWE making an effort to support the troops over in Iraq, while I’m not a supporter of the war or an American those are just kids over there trying to do a tough and dangerous job… So kudos to the WWE for taking the time to go over and put on a show for em.
