Thats right today is John Cena’s 31st Birthday… I guess we’re all getting older eh :)

He was born at 6:13 to John and Carol Cena on April 23rd, 1977 in New Bury, Massachusetts.

John Cena Special · Feb 24, 04:22 AM by The Source

On March 3rd the iNDEMAND Network will be releasing a John Cena Special which runs approximately 3 hours.

I’m unsure exactly what will be included however it will be a PPV product.

My two top theories are:

1. It will be all about Cena’s injury and subsequent recovery.

2. An overview of Cena’s career in the WWE.

Either way it promises to be interesting and I will try and get some more info and screen caps to you when it’s released.

John Cena's New Commercial · Feb 12, 05:05 PM by The Source

Things are looking up for John, not only is he back in the ring kicking butt and taking names but with todays announcement of a new endorsement deal with Gillette and the previously announced “12 Rounds” movie… Things are definitely looking good.

In the upcoming NASCAR Daytona 500 we will see a new commercial starring John Cena as he teaches the “Gillette Young Guns” how to wrestle like a pro.

This commercial will kick off John’s new role as the companies spokesperson.

In a press release issued today by Gillette the companies Associate Marketing Director had some nice things to say about Cena:

“John is an incredible talent. His appeal as a sports entertainer, actor and musical artist is perfect for our new razor and personal grooming products campaigns,” said Michelle Potorski, Associate Marketing Director, Gillette North America. “He made a fantastic impression when we worked with him on the television series, and he embodies the qualities we are looking for in a spokesperson, someone who believes that looking good is a critical part of performing at your best.”

Cena Returns Update · Feb 6, 07:05 AM by The Source

Back in early Janurary we reported a rumor that John Cena was going to make an appearance on RAW that night, unfortunately when the Jan 7th episode of RAW aired… John Cena was no where to be found.

At the time we were a little embarrassed and stopped posting “rumors” but now it seems we were close to the mark, in fact the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has just revealed that Cena was already medically cleared and planned to make an appearance for Jan 7th.

Apparently Brian Gewirst, Vince McMahon and Michael Hayes wanted to announce the Cena would be making an appearance at Royal Rumble on Jan 7th but Stephanie McMahon and Bruce Prichard managed to talk Vince McMahon into holding back the announcement and making it a surprise.

It’s an interesting clash of increasing PPV buy rates and making the Royal Rumble PPV and memorable one… Personally I’m glad surprise won out over money.

John Cena's Busy Schedule · Feb 5, 01:10 PM by The Source

Since we reported that John Cena had signed on to play the lead character in the upcoming WWE film “12 Rounds” a few people have emailed me wondering if this would cut into Cena’s wrestling schedule.

Well I’m pleased to report that John will be working a simular schedule to what we got used to when he was filming “The Marine”.

That means we will still see him on Monday Night Raw and important Pay Per View events, however chances are he won’t be making to many house show appearances.
